This community service program aims to enhance village economic self-reliance and environmental quality through training on producing liquid probiotics derived from fermented organic waste. The program was initiated in response to the community’s limited knowledge and skills in processing organic waste into value-added products that support a green economy. A participatory approach was employed, consisting of lectures, interactive discussions, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and continued assistance. Evaluation was carried out using pre-test and post-test instruments as well as direct observation of participants’ practical performance. The results indicated a significant improvement in both knowledge and skills, with the average score increasing from 40.83 to 83.67. Participants successfully completed all stages of the fermentation process independently, including material selection, preparation, mixing, and proper storage while maintaining hygiene standards. The training also fostered a shift in perceptions, encouraging participants to view organic waste as a valuable resource with economic potential, particularly for developing environmentally friendly micro-enterprises. Overall, the program effectively strengthened community capacity in organic waste management and demonstrated strong potential as a sustainable empowerment model for promoting green economy practices at the village level.
