Blockchain Dalam Lingkungan Bisnis: Studi Kasus Perdagangan Crypto di Aplikasi Indodax

Abstract

Blockchain technology has become a critical element in the transformation of the global digital business environment, including in the crypto asset trading sector. In Indonesia, the application of blockchain is starting to be seen through local platforms such as Indodax that offer a transparent and decentralized transaction system. This research aims to analyze the application of blockchain technology in crypto trading activities in Indodax and assess its benefits and challenges from a technical and business perspective. In addition, this research also aims to formulate strategic recommendations for business people and regulators in optimizing the use of blockchain. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a Case Study approach on the Indodax platform. The data collection technique was carried out through semi-structured interviews with active users as well as participatory observation of blockchain features in the application. The data was analyzed using thematic analysis methods to identify key themes related to user perception and experience. The results show that although the blockchain system at Indodax is considered secure, efficient, and transparent, there are still challenges in user technical literacy and the need for systematic education. Platforms and regulators are expected to develop educational features and adaptive policies to encourage inclusive and sustainable use of blockchain.
