ANALISIS PENGARUH MODAL KERJA DAN SIMPAN-PINJAM ANGGOTA TERHADAP SISA HASIL USAHA KOPERASI PADANG PANJANG

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of working capital, member savings, and member loans on the remaining operating results (SHU) of cooperatives in Padang Panjang City during the period 2021-2024. The object og this research is cooperatives registered at the Departement pf Trade, Cooperatives, and SMEs. This study uses a quantitative approach with panel data derived from 42 cooperatives, resulting in 168 observation. The data were analyzed using panel data regission with the Common Effect Model (CEM). The result show that working capital and member loans have a positive and significant effect on SHU, while member savings have a negative and significant effect.  These findings indicate that effective financial management, particularly in optimizing working capital and loan distribution, plays an important role in improving cooperative performance and sustainability.
