THE EFFECT OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE, INTELLECTUAL INTELLIGENCE, LEARNING BEHAVIOR, AND LEARNING INTEREST ON EQUITY UNDERSTANDING

Abstract

This study is a quantitative research that aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence, intellectual intelligence, learning behavior, and learning interest on equity comprehension. The object of this research is accounting students at private universities in Palembang City. The data used in this study are primary data obtained directly from respondents through questionnaire distribution. The sample consisted of 205 respondents, determined using the Isaac and Michael table with a probability sampling approach. This quantitative method was employed to test hypotheses based on the collected data. Data analysis was conducted both partially and simultaneously. The results of the multiple linear regression test indicate that the variables of emotional intelligence (X1), intellectual intelligence (X2), learning behavior (X3), and learning interest (X4) have a positive influence on equity comprehension (Y).
