THE ROLE of BUMDes IN THE DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY of CATFISH FARMING MSMEs in GEMPOLDENOK VILLAGE, DEMPET SUBDISTRICT, DEMAK REGENCY

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the role of BUMDes in managing the development strategy of catfish UMKM to overcome the problem of limited capital and increase the capacity of human resources in Desa Gempoldenok , Kecamatan Dempet, Kabupaten Demak. This research employs a descriptive qualitative methodology. Interviewing, observing, and documenting are methods used to gather data.  A snowball sample of six people is used in the informant selection process.  Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion-making are the steps involved in data analysis. The findings of this investigation, the BUMDes strategy to overcome limited capital by providing savings and loan facilities with low interest and flexible repayment times. To overcome the problem of increasing the capacity of human by forming business groups to encourage business independence and holding business training and mentoring which in this case collaborates with Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan.
